Each of our three preschool groups is taught by a university-trained Early Childhood Teacher and trained and experienced educators.
These dedicated professionals offer your child the highest level of preschool education. They also foster a nurturing environment to support each child’s individual needs and development.
Loyal and long-serving staff members provide consistency and security for the children. Many have enjoyed teaching several children from the one family. All staff are committed to ongoing professional development and to the principles of the National Quality Framework.
Director - MISS Belinda
Belinda joined us in 2024 and brings with her a wealth of experience having worked in Early Childhood Education for over 30 years. She has passion for learning and mentoring new Educators in the profession. Belinda has a Master of Education (Indigenous Education), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and a Bachelor of Teaching. She also hold a Certificate IV in training and assessment. Belinda is passionate about Early Childhood curriculum, literacy and children’s literature.
office administrator - Miss Larissa
Larissa joined us in 2024 and is one of the first people you will meet when you visit the preschool. Larissa runs regular tours for new families looking to join our waiting list and she is the person to speak to if you have any questions about fees, preschool structure or application processes.
Twiga Teacher (M-W, Educational Leader, 2IC) - miss Tara
Tara joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in early 2016, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from over two decades of experience in the profession. She has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) and enjoys extending children's learning through play-based experiences, engaging children in learning projects and STEAM experiences based on their interests and advocating for the rights of children. Tara is the Monday - Wednesday teacher for the Twiga class. Tara is the Educational Leader and is also the second in charge.
TWIGA Teacher (TH-F) - miss HELEN
Helen is a new graduate joining us in 2024. She has her Masters of Teaching (0-5) and will be teaching the Twiga class on Thursdays and Fridays and is covering Miss Jacinta while she is on maternity leave. With a fresh perspective and passion for early childhood education, Helen is eager to support our Educators to create engaging learning experiences for our preschoolers.
Tembo teacher (M-W)- Miss TANIA
Tania is the Early Childhood Teacher for the Tembo group on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Tania started teaching here in January 2025 and is covering Miss Kaitlyn while she is on maternity leave. She is a university trained teacher-with a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood. She is passionate about developing close relationships with children, advocating for children’s rights and creating inclusive learning environments.
Tembo teacher (Th-F)- Miss Pauline
Pauline is the Thursday - Friday Tembo Early Childhood Teacher. Pauline started teaching here in mid 2024 and comes with 10 years of experience. She is a university-trained teacher with a Masters of Teaching (Early Childhood). Pauline is passionate about building children’s health and wellbeing and extending their learning through STEAM experiences.
Toto Teacher (M-W) - miss Grace
Grace joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in early 2024. She has a Masters of Teaching (Early Childhood) and is employed in a maternity leave position. Grace speaks Indonesian and enjoys extending children's learning through play-based experiences. Grace is the Monday - Wednesday Teacher for the Toto class.
Toto Teacher (Th-F) - miss Hannah
Hannah is the Early Childhood Teacher of the Thursday-Friday Toto Children. She completed her degree in Early Childhood Education in 2015 and started teaching at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool at the beginning of 2016. She is passionate about seeing children learn and develop. Hannah is thankful that she can play an active role in sharing the love of Jesus with children.
TEMBO diploma Educator (M-F)- Miss Annette
Annette has been working at the preschool since 2001. She attained her Certificate III in Children’s Services in 2011 and has her Diploma in Children’s Services. Annette and has seen multiple generations of families come through the preschool. Annette works with the Tembo children and Educators throughout the week.
Toto EDUCATOR (m-w) - MISS ELAINE
Elaine has a Diploma of Education and Care and works in the Totos room on Monday-Wednesdays as the Diploma Educator. Elaine began working at the Preschool early in 2024 though has been an active member of our community for years while her children attended our preschool. She is enthusiastic about preparing inviting play spaces to engage children in learning, building relationships with children and providing meaningful documentation of children’s learning for their families.
Toto diploma Educator (Th-F, RELEASE EDUCATOR M-W,)- Miss Patti
Patti has been a member of the Christ Church Gladesville Preschool team since 2009. Patti is the Release Educator, covering Educators programming times on Monday-Wednesdays and Diploma Educator for the Thursday-Friday Toto class. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children and their families and enjoys helping all children to actively engage in the Preschool program.
Twiga Diploma Educator (M-W) - Miss Jamie
Jamie has been at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool since 2018 and is our Diploma Educator in the Twiga group on Monday to Wednesday. She is passionate about cultivating a well-rounded environment for play-based learning where children can flourish in their development. She values the importance of a Christian Curriculum and seeks to share the love of God in all her work.
Twiga Diploma Educator (Th-F) - Miss Stella
Stella is the Th-F Twiga Educator and joined our team at the start of 2025. She has her Diploma of Education in Early Childhood and enjoys setting up fun and inviting play based experiences for children, fostering close relationships between the children and Educators and extending children’s early literacy development through reading and drawing experiences.
Tembo Diploma Trained SUPPORT WORKER (M-w) - MISS Renee
Renee joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 2023. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Renee works in the Tembos room as the Support Worker Monday-Wednesdays. She enjoys extending children’s learning through a variety of games and activities.
Twiga Diploma Trained SUPPORT WORKER (M-F) - MISS BEK
Bek has been working in Early Childhood Education for 7 years and joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 2024. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Bek works in the Twigas room as the Support Worker 5 days per week. Bek brings energy and enthusiasm with her and a positive attitude to learning. She enjoys actively engaging with children on their level and supporting children to develop their social skills, play skills and build independence.
Toto Support educator (M-W) - MISS NISA
Nisa started at Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in 2023 working as a casual and then became part of the permanent staff team in 2024. Nisa has a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care and has a wealth of experience working with preschool children. Nisa is very creative and is passionate about children expressing their ideas through art and craft experiences.
TOTo Support educator (Th-F) - Miss Carolyn
Carolyn began in the role in 2004. While working, she studied at TAFE, completing her Certificate III in Children’s Services. Carolyn’s role as Support Worker on Thursday and Friday means that she has the privilege of working with the Toto children and families.
TEMBO Support educator (Th-F) - MisS YOUNGMI
Youngmi is a former Preschool parent who joined the team in 2024 as a support worker in the Tembos room. Youngmi holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. Youngmi is experienced in working with children with additional needs and speaks fluent Korean. she loves creating new and exciting experiences for children.
Release teacher (Th- F) - miss helen
Juan joined Christ Church Gladesville Preschool in early 2024. She has a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). She is passionate about extending children’s interests and helping them learn through music and movement. Juan is the Thursday-Friday Release Teacher covering Educators programming times.
TEMBO TEACHER (currently on maternity leave)- MISS JACINTA
Jacinta is the Thursday - Friday Tembo Early Childhood Teacher. Jacinta started teaching here in 2018. Jacinta has a passion for fostering children’s curiosity and supporting them to become lifelong learners. She is a university-trained teacher, specialising in Early Childhood Education.
Tembo teacher (currently on maternity leave)- Miss Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn is the Early Childhood Teacher for the Tembo group on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and the Release Teacher on Thursday and Friday. Kaitlyn started teaching here at the beginning of 2019 and is a university trained teacher, and has experience in long day care and preschool environments. Kaitlyn is passionate about equipping and supporting our little learners, by providing a resource rich environment for them to discover and explore.
casual Educator - Miss Debbie
Debbie fell in love with Christ Church Gladesville Preschool when her own children attended. She began working with the preschool in 2002 and has taken on many different roles during her time here. Debbie has her Certificate III in Children’s Services is and passionate about teaching children to express themselves and their learning through the creative arts. She retired from her part-time position at the beginning of 2024 and now works casually Mondays-Fridays.
